When I was little, my parents had a sketch done of me. I was only maybe 2, and its a really cute sketch! I have it here, and one day I'll get it framed and hang it up. We don't have many pictures hanging up in our home, and the ones that we do have up are not family pictures. We have wolf pictures and hockey stuff... not that there's anything wrong with that, but I just think that maybe now we should have pictures of the kids everywhere. So... we now have a camera that can take awesome pictures and we'll now be able to hang them up all over the place :)

This is a picture that I took of Chris yesterday. I'm learning how to play around with Photoshop and make pictures look really different, and decided that I wanted to see how the sketch feature worked. I think it looks ok, and I'll hang it up beside the sketch of me eventually. I'll have to get one of Joey too, and I know just the picture that I want to use for it... I'll just have to find it!

It was another busy week, and I've been tired, and I just haven't felt like writing. We have a new office manager at work, and so far she is wonderful! I've actually enjoyed being at the office this week... not like the past few months. We all think that we will be able to learn something from this lady, and that we'll enjoy this next year together. I really hope so.

Jason's still working hard at Walkers. He hurt his knee and its causing some problems for him, so he'll get that checked out this week hopefully. Joey's still loving school and is doing AWESOME at his home reading! He can sound out lots of words now, and surprised me by reading the word "grocery" all on his own! I'm so proud of him! Chris is still not walking unless you bribe him with food or something else exciting! He's such a lazy little bum and will crawl everywhere instead of walking to where he wants to go. He knows how to walk... he just prefers not too!

So that's my week in a nutshell. Same old boring crap as usual. But now that we have a decent camera I'll be able to get some great pictures to share... and not just pics of the boys!

Have a great week... in case I don't write again for a while :)

P.S. Forgot to add that the creme eggs are all gone... going to Sam's tomorrow to get more since the pet store are all out of creme egg bunnies !!!!

Now that the Easter season is upon us, the Cadbury bunny is a very much loved creature around here. I think that he should be a year-round figure, kind of like the tooth fairy. See, I have an addiction to the Cadbury Creme Eggs. Those little chocolate eggies are just so sweet and delicious that I cannot resist them. I really do think that I have a problem... but I bought a case of them today just to make sure :) I'll let you know how long they last!

The boys are helping me eat the eggs, including Christopher. He had his very own creme egg for the first time today. I took some pictures to share with you... it was quite cute, and very messy!

As you can see, he was one very happy little boy! I'm sure that the creme eggs won't last till Easter... so that little Easter Bunny better hop his little bunny butt over here and leave lots of eggs at Easter :)

Joey went to Superpet today with his daycare. They have been doing some great stuff for March break, and today was a bus trip! Joey was really excited, and decided to tell me this morning that he was going to buy a hamster when he was there... he thinks that the 30 cents that he had in a little ziploc bag was going to get him a hamster! He was determined to get one, so I just changed the topic and left that one up to his teachers to tell him no at the pet store! What kind of mother am I - allowing my 1 year old to eat a whole creme and letting other people shatter my 5 year olds dream of a pet...! Yep, I'm mean, call children's aid on me :) Hey, at least my kids smile and love me!

Not much more to talk about today, pretty boring day. But tomorrow is Friday! Woohoo!

Its been a while, so I figured that maybe I should let everyone know that yes - I am still alive & kicking. What a week last week was. Lets just say that I wish more than anything else in the world that I had another job, or was a stay-at-home mom. I keep on hearing that things will get better, but I don't see that happening in the near future.

Don't get me wrong. I like my job and what I do. I just don't like all that comes along with it. The girls that I work with are great - I love our morning chats! Even with our chats & discussions, we always somehow get our jobs done. But more & more often I find that some people slack off or don't pull their own weight, leaving their work for everyone else. I just find it so unfair that we are expected to clean up what others leave behind without caring. So as Forrest Gump would say - "That's all I have to say about that". I don't normally talk about work on here, but this was an overly awful week and I felt like getting that out to the world... so there. (yes, I said that with my tongue sticking out giving attitude!)

Anyways.... I'm not going to dwell on it because I'll just get all worked up over it again and won't be able sleep tonight.

Kids are doing well, Joey must be on a growth spurt. Clothes that he was wearing last week don't fit him right this week - his pants are getting short, and his sleeves are way above his wrists! And his hair... he reminds me of Kelso from That 70's Show! He's so cute, just so adorable! But every mom says that about her kid, so here's a picture for you to decide for yourself.

Yep, he's cute alright! And the other one... well, here's a pic of him too... decide for yourself again...

Uh huh - that's a piggy on his head! One of the kids at his daycare made this for him at March Break daycamp. When I first saw it, I didn't see the spider and I thought that this hat was supposed to represent Chris.... Jason wasn't too impressed and pointed out the spider to me, and explained that it was from the movie Charlottes Web! Oh well, I guess I'm a little sensitive about my little sumo wrestler :)

Not much else happening. I feel like I've been running around getting nowhere for the last little while, so hopefully things will start to change soon. I also feel like I'm getting a cold, I'm sneezing all the time and have that stuffy head feeling. Maybe I'm just tired, so I'm gonna go to bed now and see how I feel in the morning. Good night!

P.S. No Prison Break again tonight, what's up with that?!?!

!!! SNOW DAY !!!

Its a real snow day! I can't believe that its an official snow day - even my office is closed for the day :) I'm so excited, I feel like I'm 10 years old again! Joey isn't as excited as me. He cried when I told him there was no school today because he loves it so much! Anyways, whatever, I love this day!!! This is a picture of what we woke up to this morning. There was tons of snow that got covered in ice from the freezing rain, and yep, now its raining. Its really icy and not great out there, and sucks if you have to drive.

My snow day is not really due to the snow and ice that we had yesterday. When my alarm went off this morning the radio came on and they were talking about a power outage. Apparently all the streets around our office have no power whatsoever! The hydro lines have snapped, but they're working on it. All I have to say is "hey, hydro guys, take your time! I'll understand if it takes all day to figure out the problem, takes a week to order the parts necessary, and takes another week to fix it up with those new parts!". I know. The snow day is today and only today, but I can always hope :)

The kids are healthy now, and its Jason's turn to be sick. He's feeling awful, but he actually made it to work today. Probably a good thing that he's there cause the kids and I are going to be loud and having fun today! Not a good thing to have to listen to when you're feeling sick and crappy!

What else can I tell you today? Not much, cause I'm too excited! I feel like the little kid in the Disney commercial who wakes up his parents in the middle of the night and just says "I'm too excited!". Yep, thats me - a big kid! Only now its more fun cause I've got kids to do stuff with!

Anyways, thats it for now. I'm going to go have breakfast with my boys and then plan our big day! Hope everyone else has fun too!

Oh yeah, if you like snow tubing then go to Chicopee tube park this afternoon - you'll get to go for free cause its Dave's Snow Day! Check out davefm.com!

Slideshow!

Enjoy the pictures everyone :)
