Its been three weeks since my last post, and quite a few people are missing me! Nice to know, nice to know. Here you go - now you can catch up!
Chris is starting to say a few more words. We were on our way to daycare the other day and I was carrying Chris to the car. It was really snowy, the snow was deep, and he didn't have his snowpants on, so I was carrying him. He kept on saying "walk" and I kept saying "no". After a minute of this, he finally said "big boy walk"! I couldn't believe that he actually put those few words together on his own - I was so proud of him. But I still didn't let him walk!
Joey made a snowman a few weeks ago that he decided to name God. I have absolutely no idea why he decided to name it God, but if it makes him happy then go for it. Anyways, he got upset one day coming home from school because the snowmans head had fallen off! He tried to fix God's head, but it just didn't want to work for him, so now we have a very strange looking snowman on our front lawn :)
Work is still the same, so is Jason's - once again he's laid off. We'll see how long it lasts this time. Hopefully only a week, but you never know. Now would be a great time to win the lottery!
Today is the new stat holiday.... Family Day. What about those people who don't have a family, or who really don't want to spend time with their family?! And pretty much everywhere is closed, so its not like you can go anywhere with the family. It would have been a great idea for the new holiday to be sometime in the spring when the weather is nicer, and they reduce prices at Wonderland, African Lion Safari, places like that, so that families can actually have a nice day together without spending a fortune.
Joey is making dinner for us today for Family Day. We're having quiche, and probably muffins for dessert! He's excited about making dinner, so it will be fun. We're also going to the Butterfly Conservatory today (its the only place open!) so we should also have some pictures to post. Its Hug-a-Bug day at the conservatory, so hopefully Joey will make some great faces for me!
Hope everyone enjoys Family Day!
