Ahhhhhh, its so quiet in my little world right now :) Its just me & Bailey, and she's asleep. The kids are off at Aunt Tammy's for dinner and will be home just in time to go to bed.... I love this evening :)
So puppy is doing great. She's getting bigger already.... she's gonna be bigger than Chris pretty soon! She already knows "sit" and "paw", and we're working some other ones. Still have to get her to walk nicely on her leash, she likes to wrap herself around my legs, so I've gotta get her to stop doing that before she's much bigger! She especially likes when the kids walk with us, but I don't. She gets too excited and wants to play with the boys and be right with them, which means that I get pulled all over the place :) Oh what fun my Bailey is!
Just thought I'd stop in and talk to myself, and you guys, for a bit.... kinda lonely when the kids aren't here, I'm not used to it! Didn't know what to do with myself!!!
Hope everyone's 2010 is off to a good start - I know ours is!!!

Happy New Year! And Merry Christmas too! Its been a while and I've missed a few events, so I hope that everyone had a very happy holiday season and that 2010 will be a wonderful year for everyone :)
My boys are a year older now. Chris was 4 on December 15 and Joey is now 8! 8!!!!!!! Crazy how time just flies by when you have kids. They were both spoiled rotten, between their birthdays and Christmas there isn't a toy in the world that these 2 kids didn't get! (or at least it feels that way!)
Anyways, some good news. 2009 was a very tough year for us. We lost many that were close to our hearts, people and pets. They will always be in our hearts, and I hope they know how much they were loved and just how much they meant to us. We decided to start this year off by adding to the family..... today, Jason picked up a puppy for us to love! I think that this is what we all need. Therapy, if you will. We can concentrate on the little furball and how much fun she is instead of focusing on the past and what we lost. Time to move on, hard as it has been to admit that the show does go on.
Puppy is all black with a few little patches of white. Don't worry, I'll get pics soon :) But we're stuck on names. Joey wants Jessie, I want Bailey or Katie, and Chris wants.... well, he's 4 and thinks that Kleenex Box, Marshmallow on a Stick and Cupcake are all great names for a puppy!!! I'm really pushing for Bailey... just seems like a beautiful name for a beautiful little creature :) She's going to be big! She's 10 weeks old and she's already bigger than the Jack Russell down the street from us :) She is a Lab/Newfoundland dog cross, and she is beautiful! I can't wait to play with her!!!!
So there it is. Good news!!! What a way to start the new year :) I hope that everyone else is starting off the new year and the new decade happy.
