Ok, I wasn't going to post this one. Jason made a cake tonight, so Joey wanted to lick the bowl. This is what I caught him doing, so I wanted to get a video of it. Its not so much the bowl thing thats funny, but the look on his face at the end of the video... I hope you like it as much as we do!

Tonight is American Idol night... I hope the Jason or Brooke screw up REALLY bad and get kicked off. They suck - I have no idea how they're both still there. Then after AI its Hells Kitchen. Fun, quality tv viewing :)

Anyways, gotta go spend some time with the kids before the tv beckons me!

Do you watch American Idol??? If you do, are you as mad as I am that Carly's gone and that Jason is still there? Seriously, how is he still there? HE SUCKS!!! It should be Jason to go next, then Brooke - she cries way too much, she's just annoying. Anyways, David Cook is going to win. I used to want David Archuleta to win, but David Cook is getting better and better week by week. Go DC!!!

So its been an interesting day or two. My car got all scratched up at work yesterday. NOT IMPRESSED. I know exactly how it happened too. The people in the unit above us are moving out, and they were taking out all the desks and big stuff yesterday. Seems that instead of asking us to move our cars so that they could get a truck in, they just squeezed through with the stuff. When I asked their boss about it this morning, he said that he would talk to the guys who were doing the moving and get back to me. Later this morning, he came back with this moronic little idiot who proceeded to tell me that they weren't moving anything that was that big, nothing that would be big enough to scratch my mirror, or gouge my bumper. WHAT A KNOB!!! Just talking to that #ssh!l# was enough to push me over the edge. So I did what I do best.....

I went back into the office and reported it to the cops. They wasted their afternoon with these morons who wouldn't take responsibility for their stupidity. All I wanted was an apology and things would have been fine. But piss me off and you'll find out what I'm really like. I'm glad that you wasted an afternoon explaining things to a cop, instead of moving your crap out. I hope it ruined your day. P.S. You also ruined my lunch.

Onto other things now. We went for lunch at the Blackshop on Wednesday. It was incredible! The steak was so tender and yummy, and the dessert..... OMG! Triple chocolate obsession. Amazing! I think its my new favourite restaurant.

This weekend is Webkinz extravaganza weekend. Oh, exciting! If you have kids, you probably know exactly what I'm talking about. If you spend $10 in stores that are participating, then you get a free Webkinz. So I took Joey to Second Star from the Right as soon as I got home from work tonight and there was already a line up! After waiting 45 minutes, it was finally Joey's turn. We bought a kangaroo which he named Joey, and he got a tiger for free. Then it was off to play the Webkinz games - he had a ball! They even gave the kids tickets for cotton candy... when Joey went up to get his, he asked if he could also have one for his little brother. I was so proud of him. He also picked some sour gummies as one of the game prizes to share with his daddy. He was thinking of everyone tonight :)

Joey also got a special certificate at school today. He was awarded this months certificate for showing reverence. He was quite proud of himself.... and had no idea what it meant! But he still wants to frame it and hang it up! What a kid :)

So its been an exciting day, busy day, crazy day. Here's hoping that the weekend will be wonderful!!!

I'm so glad that the good weather is finally here! But it seems like we've gone right from Winter to Summer.... did I completely miss Spring?! Not that I'm complaining, because I'm loving this heat. I'm already sunburned :)

Funny thing about Chris is that his Winter hat is kind of like a security blankie for him. I bought him a Diego baseball hat and he loves to wear it around the house. The minute you even mention going outside, he takes off the Diego hat and goes running for his Winter hat! Here's a pic...

He puts the hat on all by himself and he's so proud of himself that he can do it! It can't hurt him, so might as well just let him wear it. Eventually he'll realize that he's warm and give up the hat, right?!

Yesterday was a big day. We saw my cousin Thomas and his fiance Terri for the first time in 6 years! Their kids are beautiful, both boys, and so well behaved! Carter is 2 months older than Joey, and Sawyer is 18 months. When we were talking, we realized that there's lots of freaky coincidences about these boys....

1. Our kids birthdays are both 5 days apart.
2. Joey & Carter look alike, they could be brothers.
3. Carter & Chris both love to eat!
4. Joey & Carter both don't like doing homework or cleaning their rooms!
5. Carter & Sawyer have the same blue eyes as Chris.

I could go on and on. But Joey & Carter are now really good friends and they can't wait to get together again! Gotta find something else fun to do with these kids... and not Chuck E Cheese again!

Here's a few pictures...

Carter & Joey - don't they look alike?!

Sawyer - isn't he gorgeous!!

Chris being silly at the Simpsons game!

Chris & Bob

I told Chris that drinking & driving can make you see & do funny things... just look at that big mouse he's driving with! BTW: Those Chuck E Cheese cups aren't spillproof... just look at his shirt, and mine was covered too!

So that's how our weekend was. I'm excited for this week because I get to go to the Blackshop Restaurant for lunch on Wednesday. Its "Administrative Professionals" day, so our bosses are taking us all out. Can't wait - and I'm getting steak, not chicken :) And they don't call them fries at this restaurant, they call them frites. Yep, its fancy alright!

Ok, I'm done now. Just wanted to share the pictures and let you all know what's up. Enjoy the sunshine!!!!

It happened! Joey's tooth finally fell out! Well, actually.... it didn't fall out. He wiggled and pulled it out :) It was barely hanging in there (his "guts" wouldn't let go of it, as he so nicely worded it!) and it must have been hurting his lip - it was pointing straight forward so that the top of his tooth was against his lip. Anways, I told him that if it came out today then I'd get him Dairy Queen - so he made sure that it was going to happen today. So proud of him, he didn't cry or get grossed out with the blood (there wasn't much). Instead, he asked for a mirror so he could see how yucky it looked and so he could see his guts inside the hole. Boys :)

He's in bed right now with his tooth and a note for the tooth fairy under this pillow. He wrote "Dear tooth fairy, Can I please keep my tooth but can I still have the money please?" It was so cute, and so hard to keep a straight face while he was writing the letter. He really wants it because its the first tooth to fall out... but he doesn't want to give up that money! We'll see what happens when he wakes up and finds a toonie and his tooth still there, and a note saying that he can keep this one, but the rest all belong to the tooth fairy!

So there's your weekend update! Have a great week!

I actually have a few things to write about tonight... better click to another site now in case you get bored! I have a tendency to go on and on and on at times, and this may just be one of those times :) (So deal with it!)

Anyways, lets start with REPORT CARD DAY!!! I have to say that I am so VERY PROUD of Joey for the report card that he brought home. He got an A in reading!!! All of his grades went up this term, and he only had one C (in writing, which he really needs to work on!). Joey has gone from having a hard time reading simple sentences, to reading whole books now. It amazes me how much he has learned - its almost an overnight thing, he just woke up one day and it all made sense and he was able to read. And now he reads everything :) So proud of him!

He also has two teeth that are going to fall out any day now. I'm surprised that the one hasn't already, as it looks really gross.... its flopping around in there and you can see his other tooth growing in behind it. Yuck. Anyways, looks like the tooth fairy is going to need our address pretty soon ;)

Chris is, well, Chris. You guys all know what he's like and I don't think he'll ever change. He still likes food, still has a constant runny nose, still doesn't like to talk too much, but still makes tons of noise and makes us all laugh ;0 One thing that is new with him is that he is going potty! He knows how to do it, and he will do it, but only when he wants to... and only when there's smarties involved. Yep - give him food and he'll do anything!

So Earth hour was last week. What happened to Earth day??? Whatever. Anyways, we shut off our lights and watched a movie... but I fell asleep because the lights were off. You should check out Kevins web site for a cool picture of downtown Toronto with the lights out. Very nice Kev!

And what is this world coming to?! First the Spice Girls, now New Kids on the Block?! I'll admit it - I was a fan of NKOTB. My bedroom walls were covered in posters. You couldn't see an inch of wall for posters. My favourite was Jordan because our birthdays were on the same day (still is, duh!). But seriously, there comes a point where they can't be the New Kids any more. Can't they change their name??? Maybe Older & Wiser Men on the Block, The Wannabes on the Block, Them Old Men on the Block? As much as I loved them, do they really have to come back??? Can't they just leave well enough alone? (But I still want to see them!)

I don't talk about work on here, but I will tonight. I had my first review two weeks ago. And I've worked there for 8 years! Very good review, and I'm proud of myself. Yay me :) And what about Jason's work - whats new there??! Nothing - still laid off. 5 weeks and counting. Hopefully something will change soon, and he'll get back to work.

Both the car and the truck were in the shop this week. I now have new tires and my oil pan gasket is fixed. Jason's truck doesn't make weird noises any more as his brakes and stuff were fixed. I love that shop - everyone should go to Tower!

So thats it. I think. I'll remember something later and have to edit this post, but oh well! Hope I didn't bore anyone too badly. Have a great weekend and ENJOY THE SUNSHINE!

!!!!! SPRING IS FINALLY HERE !!!!!

Slideshow!

Enjoy the pictures everyone :)
