Wow! I must be getting sick... I'm posting again before the week is up! And this time I even have pictures! I went a little camera crazy and got some pics of the boys, so I hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed taking them.

The kids absolutely love our neighbour, Connie. She is awesome with the boys, and its now to the point where Chris even yells for her the minute we go out front. Yesterday she asked if the boys wanted to come out and have some blueberries with her and play in the sprinkler. It always tires them out, so off we went. I have never in my life seen a kid eat blueberries the way Chris did! He was grabbing them by the handful and shoving them in his little face! At one point, Connie even tried to feed one to him and he bit her finger!!! My little animal! Anyways, these are pictures of the blueberry smoothie that he decided to try on his own...

Connies dog, Griffin, also loves Chris... he gets to lick him clean and eat all the food that Chris drops :) I shouldn't say that - Chris fights him for the food that is dropped and I think one day that he'll eat Griffin for getting all the dropped stuff! I swear that my kid is some kind of little primal animal... wonder if he'll ever outgrow it?!

I also had to show off this picture of Joey. He looks so grown up in it, and I just hope that he's still this handsome in 10-20-30 years! Ok, I admit that I don't want him to grow up, but seeing this picture really makes me look forward to when he's older.

Its only been a week since the last post... my mom's gonna beat me if I don't start posting on a regular basis! So here's how our life has been over the last week.

Chris is still sick. He's had the runs for over a week now and our doctor seems to think that nothing is wrong. I, on the other hand, think that there is. Even though he is acting like he usually does, there is still no reason for a kid to have this happen for over a week. We've taken him off of dairy since Tuesday but it hasn't helped. I'm calling the doc first thing tomorrow, cause something is up and I don't know what it is.

Work was absolutely insane this week. We were short 3 people Mon-Tues, and 2 for the rest of the week. I still have no idea how I made it through this week without going insane or beating the hell out of someone. On the bright side of things, I actually received an apology from an agent who was not talking very nicely to me. The sad part is that he wasn't even saying anything that compares with the way some of the other agents talk to me. Guess my smartass remarks don't help the situation any ;)

Its Jason's birthday today! The boys and I made him a cake - not very pretty, but it was wonderful! Joey picked out what kind of cake he wanted to make and we made it today. So we had a cherry chip cake with chocolate icing and lots (really lots!) of sprinkles on it. He really wanted to make a transformer cake, but there was no way I was even going to try! Anyways, the cake was really good and yummy and was gone in less than 10 minutes!

Only 1 more week of work then I'm on vacation! Can't wait! Joey wants to go back to the African Lion Safari (I really should have gotten a season pass!) and we're going to picnic at Riverside. We're not planning on too much more, basically just relaxing and enjoying the kids. I can't wait!

This weekend has been good (other than changing diapers every 10 minutes or washing pukey bedding). I've been able to read a lot - the last Harry Potter book is out and I have to find out what happens! So the kids are now off to bed so that I can read - good night!

I've had quite a few people ask me why I haven't written anything lately. I've also been told to hurry up and get back at it, and to write on a regular basis. Kinda hard to do, but whatever. I'll try... cause my mommy said so!

So what's been happening around here??? Well, Joey graduated Kindergarten. That was a disappointment. Ok, maybe that came out wrong. I meant that they didn't do a ceremony like every other school on the planet does. It was just a regular day. The kids were let out as usual and given a little diploma and a book. I was there looking like a moron with my camera ready to snap away at all these little mini people in little caps, and then nothing. What a let down. Anyways, at least he graduated and he goes on to Grade 1 in September. Yay Joey!

Chris is same old same old. Getting more attitude lately too. He now knows that if he doesn't do as he's told we count... he gets "the look" as we count to three. I guess he's used to it now cause the other day I told him to do something and he turned to me and gave me "the look" and held up his finger at me! This kid is gonna be a handful. Oh yeah, wait, he already is!

We watched The Last Mimzy the other night. There was a part in it where a woman was meditating, the whole "ohhhmmmm" thing and everything. Joey just looked at me and said "thats really annoying". The things kids say! (It was an ok movie, ended up being all about the environment and stuff.)

What else.....? Work has been crazy again. Don't think it has ever stopped. I closed out a record amount of deals the other week. Worked my butt off and closed out 63 deals in one day. Still haven't figured out how I did that one. Maybe its cause I started it at home the night before? That's becoming a bit of a habit lately. I don't like it. My home time is supposed to be my time, and more often than not I am working after the kids go to bed. As Kevin would say - it suxxorz (I know I spelled it wrong, but I really don't care.)

We finally had a night out last weekend. We went to two (really!) parties in one night. I had forgotten what is was like to actually go out and have a conversation with a group of adults. The first was Mark's unwedding party. A fun night, and the guys looked great in the kilts - they really should wear them more often :) Then it was off to Matt & Melissa's for her birthday. A few drinks later and I was sooooo ready for bed! We had planned on being out late, but as it was, I was in bed by 11:30. Guess I'm getting old :)

Weird thing happened this week. I got a bug bite last weekend, Saturday. (No, that's not the weird part!) Sunday it was swollen a bit, but that's normal for me. Monday it was still swollen, but looking kinda weird too. So I went to work and watched as the swelling and redness moved all over my hand in into my wrist! I was kicked out of the office and sent to the walk-in clinic (in case it was an allergic reaction) and found out it was an infection. The doc there made me take off my rings - wouldn't let me leave until they were off! And if they didn't come off then they were going to cut them off! Anyways, long story short, my hand is no longer swollen and the rings fit back on today. Oh yeah, and I got another bug bite on that hand today!!!!

What else, what else, what else??? Can't think of anything else. Maybe I'll try to plan something fun so that I actually have something to write about soon! Until then, goodbye and mom, I promise I'll write more often, even if its only one sentence ;p
