I thought yesterday was Wednesday... I woke up this morning thinking it was Thursday.... I'm kinda disappointed that its really only Wednesday today :( Duh!

So this past weekend was Joey's reconciliation, first confession. He was nervous and told me on Sunday morning that he didn't want to go. Telling me the morning of the day that its happening is a little to late to quit, so I told him that he had to go. We got him all dressed up in his Sunday best and off we went to church. It was supposed to be uneventful.....

The first thing that happened was when the kids were singing "I Will Follow the Good Shepherd". Joey was in the front row right at the end. He left so much space between him & the little girl beside him that I kept on motioning for him to move and he just kept ignoring me! He looked terrified, and I couldn't help but giggle! When the song was over and he came back to sit with us he told me that the space beside him was for his friend D-J, who didn't show up. I just thought that he didn't want to stand beside a girl... they have cooties, you know!

Next thing was the funniest, and I so wish that we had a video camera for this one. Joey went up to the altar and confessed his many sins (thought it would take 10 hours, he was up there less than a minute!), then came back down and presented a pretty red carnation to us. Then it was off to the side to do his penance. There is a little raised altar at the side with steps that he was to kneel on with us kneeling at either side of him. Instead of kneeling down, Joey lay right down on the floor - he looked like a little sniper lying there on his belly with his legs right out behind him and his little elbows on the steps, praying! There was a little old man sitting at the side and he just laughed - and said "thats what I call lying down on the job"! I was sure that everyone heard, and Jason & I were both trying not to laugh but giggling so much that we couldn't kneel beside him! Once Joey was done, we got our coats and left... turns out that no one noticed what had happened except for the little old man and us! Only my kid, I tell you, only mine :) He has to be different all the time!

That's your funny for today! Gotta go - I'm at work!

Good news! Yay :) We have finally been moved out of our crappy old temporary office and moved into our brand new office at the brand new Remax building!!! Can you tell I'm excited? Its great :)

Ok, so its not all good news.... the ice & snow backed up under our roof shingles and leaked through the ceiling and wall/windows in Joey's room. Sucks, but we can fix it in the spring :) Just gotta win the lottery first!

Sad news for our friend Donna. Her father passed away a few days ago and is being buried tomorrow. As much as I'd love to be there for her, we have Aunt Mary's funeral tomorrow. So if you read this Donna, we love you and will be thinking of you. If there's anything we can do for you, just let us know.

Finally got Joey's Scotland project back - and he got an A!!! So very proud of him for all the hard work he did on it. Its the book fair at school this week, so we told him he could get a book because his project was so wonderful! So he will be getting a Pokemon book - he's quite excited! He's also making his first communion this year..... I have to take him suit shopping soon!

We lost Christopher the other day.... literally lost him! He is really into hide & seek right now, and he loves to hide. Usually hiding consists of going into the hallway or under a blanket and giggling... you always know where he is! But this time Jason & I were out front and had just come into the living room and Chris was gone! Couldn't find him anywhere and didn't hear any giggling!!! After almost having a heart attack and looking everywhere, Joey (sitting calmly on the couch playing his DS) pointed to the coffee table.... I keep baskets & Chris's diapers & wipes on the ledge under our coffee table, and Chris had moved them over a little bit and was lying there just waiting to be found!!! Sneaky little guy :) It was quite funny.... after a while :)

And thats it for today. Not all bad, just a little bit. Just keep smiling, that's what I keep telling myself :)

Slideshow!

Enjoy the pictures everyone :)
