A new breed of superhero... underoonie boy & underoonie dad! This picture was taken a while back, and I just re-discovered it. Its cute, so I figured I'd post it. Besides, I'm too tired today to sort through the other pictures to choose one to post. Joey has been sick for the last few days, and today he's actually starting to get back to his old self. Chris, on the other hand, is getting sick now, started last night (go figure). So needless to say, he didn't sleep because his nose was so boogery and I didn't sleep because I kept wiping all those boogers away. (Booger is a funny word!) Even though he cried almost all night, and even though I'm miserably tired right now, I just keep thinking that this stage doesn't last for long. Before I know it, he'll be a big boy and won't need me to wipe those boogers anymore. I guess I have to make the most of this situation, so I'll just keep smiling through all his tears & boogers!
I have no idea if any of that makes sense to anyone else, but oh well, doesn't really matter. Tomorrow, hopefully, I'll be back to normal... maybe. Till then, your word for the day is BOOGER!

First, I've learned that the end of summer really sucks, especially when the weather is crappy. If it was hot & sunny, I don't think it would be so bad. And what happened to the last day of summer always being on September 21.... now its September 23??? When and why did this happen? Anyone know?
Second, I learned that having a vehicle not always a good thing. You pay good money for the thing, pay lots of money for gas and upkeep, and what happens? It breaks, you pay a big chunk of change to fix it, then you get to keep on putting in more gas and paying for more upkeep. Where's the logic in that? I'm looking into getting a horse, or a cow, or a llama, or something like that so I only have to feed it and thats it. And it will eat the lawn too as a bonus. Maybe I'll get a few of them so the family can join me on my outings.... Something to think about.
Third, I've learned that I don't know as much as my son does! Joey is only 4, but wow! Is he smart?!?!? We had a Meet the Teacher night at his school last night, and Joey showed us around the school and his classroom. While he may not have the other kids artistic talents, he definetly has wits and smarts! His teacher is Miss Deitrich, and she told me that he is a very social little boy, but likes to tell her that he misses mommy when he first goes in and again at the end of the day. We both agree that its maybe an attention thing, a way to get a hug from the teacher!
While we were out yesterday, we drove past a factory that had a lot of smoke/steam pouring out of the smokestacks. Joey was so excited! He said "Look mom! They're making clouds!" To be so innocent again! One day I'll explain about pollution to him, but I'll let him be a kid for a while longer :)
Christopher now has 3 teeth! He is gnawing on everything, and thinks its fun when I pretend it hurts when he bites my finger! This kid is just like his big brother - loves to have fun, and is so happy and smily all the time. I'm pretty lucky.
The last thing I learned this week is that there are kids in Joey's class who have bigger feet than I do. That's insane.

Here goes.....
Nope. Didn't work again. I'll try again later tonight. Sorry for those of you who are checking here and being disappointed. But, better disappointed than insulted : )
hehehehehehehehe
So these pics are of our friends.... these aren't the crazy pics, but its definetly the crazy people! Some of the pics won't be posted (ummm, wonder why?!) but will be kept for future blackmail purposes ;) hehehehehe, evil me.
Anyhoo, take what pics you want, or if there's a specific pic you want, email me & I'll send it to you. You don't have to worry about pics from this site, they are not contaminated with viruses to infect & destroy your system! That's just mean & wrong.

Here's Joey.... he's sooo happy because he just got Lightening McQueen running shoes from Walmart! He was given a gift card from Shawn & Kristan for school stuff, so that is what he picked! Do you think he looks excited, or what?!?!
Anyways, busy week this week. Seems like if something is going to happen, everything is going to happen. Toilet leaks, bath doesn't work, car is acting up, but on the bright side - the dog is better! I tell ya - we need to win a lottery or something.... still trying to win the $10,000 on the radio, but Dave just never seems to call here : )
Joey is still loving school, making friends, and bringing home lots of crafts. His painting yesterday was of someone with 8 arms who was apparently talking about magnets. Yep, my kid has a very creative and imaginative mind. He is away for the weekend at Grandma & Grandpa's trailer, where they are having a Halloween weekend. He wants to dress up in his bumble bee costume and take his gun to be a killer bee. Hope everyone liked the picture that I sent out - if you didn't have the chance to see it.... here it is!

So, hope everyone has a great weekend. We're going to a wedding tomorrow, so next posting should be wedding pics or candid (blackmail!) pics of our friends!!!

This is me... Christopher. Today, I get to tell you all about what we did yesterday. I got to meet my new little cousin (well, second cousin!) and say happy birthday to Aunt Joan! That little baby thing is cute.... I just kept looking at him and wondering what it was! But he is cute, and it means that I'm not the littlest baby in the family any more! Oh yeah, his name is Brian! My mommy wanted to take him home, but Kathy wouldn't let that happen! She checked my diaper bag to make sure Brian wasn't in there before we left! My mommy is so silly!
I had fun at the party... I got to eat carrot cake and cupcakes, and on the way home my mommy let me try cotton candy! YUMMY!!! Mommy said that she has never seen my eyes go soooo big before, and that I grinned from ear to ear (what's grinned?!?!) But then I fell asleep so I don't know what mommy said after that!

So here's a picture of 4 generations... Grandma Reynolds, Aunt Joan (happy b-day!), Kathy and little cutie Brian. I think that the finger in the corner belongs to Laura, she was taking the pics with a cool camera. Mommy and Daddy both liked that camera, its just like Uncle Kevs! If they had one like that, they'd never stop taking my picture! Oh well, thats ok.
I gotta go now, I'm hungry and mommy say's my butt smells. Wonder why!
Bye Bye!

Well, today was a big day! Joey had his very first day of Senior Kindergarten and he loved it! He was so excited to go, I hardly even got a kiss, hug and goodbye! I was proud of myself too.... I didn't cry! It was hard - but I was just so proud of him and so excited for him! He was happy that he wasn't given homework yet, but he brought lots home for mommy! I guess I'll be busy this weekend filling in all the forms and crap that is my homework!
Its pretty amazing when you think about it - till now he has been the most sweetest, innocent, perfect little child, living in a world where mommy & daddy make the rules (or make up the rules!). I know that now that he is in school, the whole world is going to change! He's going to hear stuff, see things, and probably do stuff that I don't even want him to know exists! But, like my mom says, what goes around comes around! There was a day, not so long ago, when I was also sweet, innocent, and perfect..... and look at me now! Ok, fine, I guess I'm still sweet, innocent, and perfect, just a bit older and wiser :)
In other news, Christopher got his first tooth today! Now he'll be able to get revenge on Joey when he bugs him.... I can't wait till he bites him for the first time :)
The joys of children... amazing!
What they do to each other.... priceless!

Joey spent the day with his best friend Griffen. Those boys are just the cutest - they have always called each other best friends! And they're not even 5 yet! They've known each other pretty much since birth, but were separated for a while before we realized that they went to the same daycare together! Bizarre but so true. So we were able to get lots done today with Joey out... Thanks to Griffen's mommy & daddy for allowing Joey to visit :)
Crappy weather today.... although I can't complain because we didn't get the worst of Ernesto! Hopefully we'll have some more good weather this week.
I'm just wasting time waiting for the winning lottery numbers to come up... Played Joey's numbers again, the numbers that won him $78 a few months back! Hopefully it will be millions tonight, then I can go shopping :)
