Oh my goodness! What an awesome night we had!!! The concert was amazing and the club afterwards was.... different but great! Overall, I really enjoyed myself, didn't sleep much and am looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight! I wanted to share the pictures quickly... but since I took over 250 of them, I've set up an album like last time. So have a peek :)

I felt old, but the show was still awesome! There were all ages at the concert, and they sang mostly their old songs, only a few of their new songs. We had first row seats in the balcony, so we didn't have to worry about people standing in front of us and blocking our view. I was just amazed though. I didn't get to see them when I was younger, so this was a first for me. And I loved it :)

Its almost Friday! Which means its almost time for me to go see NKOTB!!! Yeah, I know, pretty sad really, but come on - I'm excited about it :) Woohoo!
So Aunt Laney left to go back to Scotland last Friday. We found the airport no problem and dropped her off ok. The ride home... well, that was something else. There were two very sad little boys in the car, one crying and saying that nothing could ever make him happy again and another crying and saying "me want my laney, me want my laney". If you're reading this Aunt Laney, the boys miss you very much and wish you were still here. Chris looks at your picture all the time and says "that's my Laney" and blows kisses to you. Bet they can't wait till next year!
And Joey - well, Joey has now lost both of his top front teeth! The second one wasn't quite ready to come out, but you know how Joey can be :) When we put him to bed at night, he always finds an excuse to get up, whether its to get a drink, or its too cold, or the kids outside are loud, or there's an alien invasion coming, there's always something to get him out of bed. So last Sunday he got up within 10 minutes of being put to bed saying that he wanted his window closed because the wind was too loud - I told him no, it was hot and we needed the breeze to cool the house down. Back to bed he went. Another ten minutes passed and we heard his little feet again, this time running to the stairs and then we heard "mommy, I really have to come downstairs, I really have a good reason this time! My tooth fell out!" Down he came.... and when he walked into the light we saw blood on his chin, on his hand, on his shirt, everywhere. Turns out that he just kept on wiggling it and pulling it until it came out! He must really have wanted the $2 that the tooth fairy leaves :) Anyways, its still strange to see him with no front teeth. He's not a little kid anymore :(

Ok, I know I've been neglecting this thing, but I have good reasons! I've actually been out enjoying what little summer we had and spending quality time with the kids (and Aunt Laney, visiting from Scotland!). Before you ask, no - I didn't actually take all this time off of work, I just rearranged my hours and took a few days off here and there to do stuff. It was fun, and I wish that I could do it all the time. I took LOTS of pictures, way too many to post on here, so for now, I'll post links to where you can see the whole online album.

As for how the kids are doing.... Joey is enjoying being back in school and has lost his first front tooth! He pulled it out and was really excited about it - here's a picture of him right after it came out....
And here he is on the first day of school, so cute, all set for Grade 2!
Then he made me take this picture... he wanted a pic of himself with his shadow, for some strange unknown reason!!! Turned out ok :)So there you go. There's lots of pics on the link that will explain my lack of posting lately. Now that the kids are back to a normal routine maybe I'll get back to posting regularly...... ok, I'm not promising, but we'll see!
