So its Friday, and I've learned a few things this week.......

First, I've learned that the end of summer really sucks, especially when the weather is crappy. If it was hot & sunny, I don't think it would be so bad. And what happened to the last day of summer always being on September 21.... now its September 23??? When and why did this happen? Anyone know?

Second, I learned that having a vehicle not always a good thing. You pay good money for the thing, pay lots of money for gas and upkeep, and what happens? It breaks, you pay a big chunk of change to fix it, then you get to keep on putting in more gas and paying for more upkeep. Where's the logic in that? I'm looking into getting a horse, or a cow, or a llama, or something like that so I only have to feed it and thats it. And it will eat the lawn too as a bonus. Maybe I'll get a few of them so the family can join me on my outings.... Something to think about.

Third, I've learned that I don't know as much as my son does! Joey is only 4, but wow! Is he smart?!?!? We had a Meet the Teacher night at his school last night, and Joey showed us around the school and his classroom. While he may not have the other kids artistic talents, he definetly has wits and smarts! His teacher is Miss Deitrich, and she told me that he is a very social little boy, but likes to tell her that he misses mommy when he first goes in and again at the end of the day. We both agree that its maybe an attention thing, a way to get a hug from the teacher!

While we were out yesterday, we drove past a factory that had a lot of smoke/steam pouring out of the smokestacks. Joey was so excited! He said "Look mom! They're making clouds!" To be so innocent again! One day I'll explain about pollution to him, but I'll let him be a kid for a while longer :)

Christopher now has 3 teeth! He is gnawing on everything, and thinks its fun when I pretend it hurts when he bites my finger! This kid is just like his big brother - loves to have fun, and is so happy and smily all the time. I'm pretty lucky.

The last thing I learned this week is that there are kids in Joey's class who have bigger feet than I do. That's insane.
