The kids are great!!! Joey isn't really too excited about school being done, but he is excited about going into grade 1. We have registered him for a new school in September, so I hope he likes it. Some of his friends from his current school will also be going there, so it shouldn't be too difficult for him... hopefully! Chris is same old, same old. Give the kid food and he's pretty content. Wonder who he gets that from?? ;p
Mom had a great time in Scotland! She also went to London and got to see the crown jewels, shopped at Harrods, went on the London eye and visited Buckingham Palace! Sounds like a ton of fun, and hopefully one day we'll be able to get back there too! Can't wait to see your video mom!
So what else has been happening in our lives, you ask??? Well, something pretty big. And, I have to say, something really wonderful. As a lot of you know, Jason is adopted. He has never made a big deal of it, and neither have his family. They just loved him as he was. Anyways, today we got to meet Jason's birth mother for the very first time. She's great, and Jason was very happy with how it turned out. I think he was setting himself up for disaster - he says that he has never heard of anything good coming out of reunions. But todays reunion was nice. We're both very happy with the outcome... Its amazing when you realize how many similarities there are between them, even though they didn't know each other!
So thats it - its been a wonderful day and now its going to be a wonderful evening.... I'm gonna sit outside with some citronella candles and have some raspberry lemonade (ok, so its raspberry flavoured vodka with lemonade, but does that matter>!) and maybe I'll get to read a page or two of my book!

Hey Captain. It's Dave.. from work.
I guess your charming wife does all the writing in this blog. I don't mean that in a bad way. I mean that in a realy good way. She sounds like a terrific lady. Anyway, you already know how I feel about you meeting your mom, for the first time. I just wanted to say, that you two, do look alike. Which is a good thing. Did I ever tell you, that I don't look like my Dad. Anyway,I have to let my dog out, she's scratching my leg.
