Tonight I'm annoyed. Annoyed that the kids were soooo hyper tonight. Annoyed that Chris is crying right now just because he went to bed. Annoyed that the freezing cold temperatures have frozen the pipes in the bathroom. Annoyed at the cat who is rubbing up against my leg right now. Grrrrrr.
Anyways, I can't wait until everything goes back to normal and everyone can get back into a routine and back to everyday life. Christmas holidays are great and all, but the kids need to get back to what they are used to. Joey has had nothing but attitude tonight, and his room is a complete wreck. He's already been told that he's not allowed to have friends over until he cleans it all up. Seems like too much work for him, but I've told him he HAS to do it, or else I get rid of everything that isn't put away properly. He has to learn somehow.
School starts back up on Monday. Can't wait. Maybe getting back into the school day/homework/playtime routine is just what Joey needs. Chris isn't back at daycare until Jason is back to work, so hopefully that will be really soon. He's not napping through the day, which makes him kinda cranky at night. Oh the joys of being parents.
Guess thats enough complaining tonight. Maybe tomorrow I'll be in a better mood.

Motherhood is just great. Don't take your frustrations out on the kids
Anonymous: I don't take my frustrations out on the kids, but they have to learn responsibility. Motherhood is great, I agree with you on that, and I'm a damn good mom. But I have every right to have a bad day.
You tell 'em Mel!
Mel
I went back to work on Thursday after a week off most of my Parents in the Nusery (day care) said there little ones are playing up badly because of the holidays your little angels will settle back down into there own routine again.
Your a great mommy so don't listen to them
Everyone has a bad day Mel and they also have the right to it! And everyone gets frustrated with there kids, if they say they don't they are lying or haven't been doing it very long! You are an excellent Mom and your boy's are awesome! Well behaved everytime I see them! It is good to see that you don't let things like that bother you!
