Grrr. It sure doesn't feel like its been a long weekend. I feel like I've accomplished nothing and gotten nowhere. Back to work tomorrow, and I know that it will be HELL!!! Last Friday was the busiest closing day of the year for us (so far, still have closings coming in for the last Friday in August!), so this week and next will suck. I've already told Joey that I'll be busy at night doing work crap, but he seems to be ok with it. The extra hours help because its one thing after the other.....

The seal on the fridge is going. I'm hoping that it will hold out for a bit longer before we have to get a new one. The dining room window broke. The frame broke off the bottom of the screen, so we can't open it at all anymore. One of the glass panels on the coffee table broke, so we need a new coffee table asap - but that's ok because I hate this one anyways :) I've had fun looking online at all the different styles of coffee tables and other furniture, and I've found 2 (maybe 3) pieces that I want. So I'm saving up to get the stuff, it will look so nice in the newly painted living room!

Chris is starting to use WAY more words! I like to get right in his face and tell him that I'm in his face! Today he said "get out my face!" Love it!!! He's definetly got character, and he's learning how to express himself :) Way to go buddy!

Joey is enjoying the summer. I've hardly seen him at all today! He got a scooter yesterday and he's been tooling around on it, showing off on it! He surprised me with how well he does on it - he even knew that there was a brake on the thing and showed me how to work it. Pretty sad when your 6 year old is teaching you stuff. Guess I should just get used to it now!

Jason is back at work now. Its been quite the week. The kids have been shuffled around the family this past week as we don't have daycare until next week, so its been tough. But its nice to know that we will be able to get my new furniture since he's working :) Something to look forward to ;)

And that's it for today. So much for a long weekend - it has sucked! (Except for the wine - try citrus pear zinfandel.... mmmmmmmm!)

This is why I'm so glad I was born a male. A woman has so much more to contend with then a male and does so quite well. Hang in there as youth is the fun time.

Slideshow!

Enjoy the pictures everyone :)
