Its really quiet. I'm not sure that I like it. We're all avoiding being at home right now... its too quiet, doesn't feel right anymore. Farley is gone. I already miss hearing his "wrow, wrow, wrow" when we come in the door, seeing his big brown eyes mooching food when we were making sandwiches, or any food, in the kitchen. I missed him this morning when I got up and didn't have to let him out. I just miss him being here.

Joey took it really hard. I don't think Chris really understood when we told them what was going on. When he woke up this morning he went looking for his wuffwuff to pet him.... when he didn't find Farley he came to me asking where he was. I explained again how Farley is in heaven now, and Chris asked when he's coming back. It was so hard to explain to him that he's not coming back, that Farley's gone forever. Chris just looked at me with his big blue eyes, so sad, then started crying and saying "me want my wuffwuff come back" over and over again. It was heartbreaking to see him so upset. I don't think we'll ever stop missing Farley. We loved him, and always will. RIP Farley.
