Ok, Ok, I'm posting again! Its been 2 months since the last update so its time to post again I guess :) Jason is now home from school! He found a job and will be working at RIM for the summer until he goes back to school in September. He likes it - nothing like what he did at Walkers! The only problem is that he works 12 hour shifts so there are some days when he doesn't see the kids. Thats ok though, they'll be out of school in another 2 weeks and then he'll see them all the time :)

So I guess you're wondering what happened with my job... or maybe you're not wondering at all! If you're someone who just happened to stumble across this blog while searching for something interesting, you may want to skip this site - its nothing but the events and misadventures of my crazy life ;p Anyways, back to the blog. I've been looking for work since I quit Remax. I have spent the last 5 years doing commission payroll and I didn't think it would be hard to find work. But everywhere I go and everyone I talk to asks if I know ADP, Ceridion, SAP,... and I have no idea what any of those things are. Ask me if I know McD or BLT and yes, I absolutely do! But I'm screwed on the other stuff, which apparently are pretty much mandatory to work in the payroll industry.

I was offered a job. It was part time and for less money than I wanted. But by the time we paid for daycare for the boys through summer I would only be bringing home $20-$30. I really couldn't justify sending the kids to someone else to make so little money. I heard back from him today and he's willing to work with me on hours... we'll see what happens, and if we can work it around Jason's schedule so that we don't have to worry about daycare costs. We also got a summer pass for the local pool, so the kids are really excited! Ok, yeah, I am too :)

I can't believe the the school year is almost over. Chris has come a LONG way since September!!! His speech is awesome and much clearer. He is a lot more patient when others don't understand what he is saying, and he takes the time to really make sure that we know what he is talking about now. And his teached says that he now plays with the other kids without being told to! At the start of the school year he didn't play with anyone because they didn't know what he was saying, and now he just doesn't shut up :) I love that kid!

Joey has had a bit of a crazy year. He's not really interested in his school work anymore, and its a struggle to get him to do his homework. Now that the weather is nice, he's outside with his friends all the time, rather than inside on the computer or playing video games! I love it!!!! But he's really growing up, and he also has that "attitude" and likes to do the big sigh thing all the time... sometimes I have to giggle because he can be such a drama queen! He's so funny! Love him too :)

I found out that I needed glasses. Maybe my eyes are what has been causing some of the headaches that have plagued me for the last while. My sinuses still bother me, but I'm hoping that the glasses help me a bit. I like them ;) I've wanted glasses ever since I was little, but never ever needed them. The optician must have thought I was crazy when I told him to make my day and tell me I needed glasses! When he was asking me to read the little tiny letters on the wall and I couldn't, he asked me if I really couldn't read it or if I was just saying it to get glasses :) Hahaha! After he was done he explained that I may have needed glasses for a while.... I have astigmatism and one eye is nearsighted and the other is farsighted. I didn't even know that you could have different issues with each eye! Anyways, I'm pretty happy - I got a pink pair and a brown/blue pair, and I'm a very happy camper!We also celebrated our anniversary! 12 years on June 13. Crazy! I don't know where all that time has gone, or how we've made it this far without beating the hell out of each other ;) We celebrated by going out for dinner with our friends and then going to see The A-Team movie, which, by the way, is AWESOME!!!!!!! Really, go see it :)

Ok, I've updated. So am I good for another 2 months now? ;p
